My roommate and I are both handicapped. I am in a wheelchair and she uses a cane. We could definitely use a housekeeper as both of us can still cook in my kitchen. We don’t have much of a yard so we don’t really need a gardener as any workthat needs to be done we can both do. Fortunately, we also live in Southern California so we don’t ever have to deal with snow!
I am truly blessed because I already have a housekeeper, a gardener and a pool service. I love to cook, so I don't need a cook. What I'd really like would be a handyman to do random things that I can't do myself or don't know how to do. I am so lucky because it was my late husband's wishes that I have these wonderful people to help me out in my golden years and he made it possible! I love your taste tests and your shopping hauls. I was worried about you two yesterday (Saturday) that something might have happened to prevent you from posting your wonderful taste test. Yessss! Cauliflower crust is wonderful. I love the chewiness😋 Costco has a roasted veggie pizza with a cauliflower crust that's good 👍 And Germany! I have a DJ friend from Seattle who took his family to visit, because he's part German, and they've now lived there for years😂
The Crunchy Pops are a dupe for Lays Poppables. The Lays don't have any flavor either. When you make it to Germany, please don't go during October because it has become too commercial. Go in April, it's really beautiful ( I was a military brat, stationed in Stuttgart) .
I recently bought a Cherry Chip cake mix (childhood favorite 🍒), and I'm wondering how the tart cherries would be in cream cheese frosting on that cake?🤷🏻

It is called life so I believe most people would be understanding. I would love to try the pizza. Good choice. All yard work! I just turned 61 and I hand mow the yard but I can't do the trimming and weedeating. Leaves in the fall too. In my experience fest beer is on the lighter side cause you usually drink it at the festival (fest) like all night. So you don't want that IPA 8% beer. I recommend Volksfest in Stuttgart and the pumpkin festival in Ludwigsburg for your future Germany visit.
Great video! It's just my Husband and me so I don't need a housekeeper. We enjoy working in our yard and I love to cook. The only thing I would like is someone to clean both of our pickups inside and out!!!! I hate that job😜
Get recommendations from neighbors on house cleaners. We have someone that cuts the grass and snow plows. I have a house cleaner but I only have them come once every 2 months for a deep clean. Maybe laundry service that picks up and drops off.
Katie, have you seen the new trend of Fridgescaping where you decorate the inside of your fridge? It's wild and really funny.🍒🍓🍋 ** Is it a kale rib? Drinking milk takes the heat away...poor Tim. A trustworthy housekeeper would definitely be a luxury. I am a foodie so giving up control of my kitchen would be a challenge. Someone to clean up the kitchen after I cook would be a dream.💕
I know tim doesn’t like the sweet salad but I created an amazing simple salad. Crunchy romaine, oranges,smoked Gouda and home made croutons and ranch. So good and fresh! My son in law loves this and he’s not a salad fan! Try!
Guess I’ll be the odd man out, I’ll take the chef, no questions asked. I can keep my apartment clean, but it would be so nice to have meals prepared while I’m in grad school 🥹
Omg, poor Tim with that habanero sauce! I once poured way too much of TJ's regular habanero sauce on my eggs and powered through and ate them. I actually felt like I was having an out of body experience! I'd take the housekeeper, for sure. I live in an apartment so I don't have a garden. I have tons of plants, but I like taking care of them. I also like to cook. Housework? I'd be happy to have someone do it for me.
Hi, guys! Thanks for your reviews on all the products in this video. Good to know that the salad kit is spicy since I don’t usually care for much heat in my food. I always enjoy your taste tests! If I had to pick a service out of those three, I think I’d like to have a housekeeper. I don’t really mind cleaning, but I would like to have someone else do that for me regardless. It would just be easier to hire someone else to do it.
Boy that was a weird taste test imho. But was glad you finally got it out. I most definitely would have a weekly housekeeper! I’m not a fan of cleaning. But when everything’s cleaned I can breathe easier.
Germany is a wonderful place to live or visit. The food is amazing and the Christmas markets are my absolute favorite! I would love to go back in November or December for the Christmas markets.❤

Your mini-rant re: the quality of the veggies in the TJ salads is spot on. I bought the new Chilli Mango salad and had to go through the same culling procedure before I put it together today. The dressings are great, but SO much ... inedible mulch! Sad.
I always chop the salads prior to eating them. I Can’t stand the huge pieces! I’ll have to try this one. I’m like Tim, I’m not crazy about a sweet salad!❤

Paulaner Oktoberfest bier is one of my favorite beers! To me, it doesn't taste anything like Coors light or Busch light. It has an intricate flavor of caramel, malt, a little fruitiness with a subtle hint of hop. Can''t speak of the can version but draft and bottle are both delicious! My Costco actually has them for the first time this year, needless to say, I stocked up, enough to last til next Summer :) Looking forward to your next TJ haul, Have a great holiday weekend!
I have a gardener who does all the grunt clean-up work. That leaves me the gardening fun of veggie planting and tending my pretty pots (containers). As a horticulture professional I never thought I'd hire a gardener but age has taken its toll on my body. I'll hire a house cleaner after I get the house to a level where I'm not embarrassed to have hired help come in and clean up my accumulated mess. I like cooking. No chef for me.
I don't have a yard so that's out. I want to say a house keeper but for the reasons you just described I don't think it would work well for me. I don't like cooking so I'll go with the chef, but I'm opting for our chef to make 3 dinners(even if I've got to heat them later in the week) Dinner is the bane of my existence!

The Paso meritage from last week is really good and a bargain. It could probably sell for $40ish elsewhere. I had my pronunciation of meritage corrected in Sonoma. It's apparently not a French word at all, rather a made up word in English, hence MER-itage.
Is it ok if I go off script? I would hire a driver, to drive me around even for short errands. I hate driving. I can't do a housekeeper or a chef, because I hate people in my space or touching my things. But for your question, it would be a gardener, because I hate bugs, heat and dirt.
