a good trader knows: - vlandia only has 1 single settlement producing iron ( near rovalt ) - the village near seonen ( battania ) is one of the cheapest spots to buy iron ( between 22-60 /// averaging mostly for me at around 30 ) with that knowledge you just go around the middle / south of vlandia and look which cities have a smithy, thats where you sell your iron ( note, every city will give you very very good prices, often x3,4,5 your buying price at first, but cities that have actual demand > smithy < are better for selling cous the value drops much slower also you can buy fur in bog beth and cotton and silver ore further north of bog beth which also sells for very good prices and the best, its all on your way from vlandia to seonen anyways *$$$*

I started a trader play through without mods for the challenge. Bought horse off villagers straught out of camp and made a few solid trades and made 5k within a small amount of time while keeping between 15 and 20 men! Im enjoying your pointers! Best bannerlord role playing ive seen yet: D " big round as- I mean numbers!" Haha

The Vlandian arena does have a 'hiding slot' in the wall near a main gate - tuck yourself in there with a Crossbow and you're out of sight. Take the odd potshot at NPCs as they run through your line of view, but keep at least 5 bolts handy for when your final opponent will come for you. You can usually, with practice, shoot them in the head for 250 gold first prize - or you have a final shoot out with the other crossbowman left, who'll be nearby waiting for you to step out. I can win the 250 gold prize about 70% of the time this way and supplement my troops that way. And - I love your videos! Thank you for putting in the time!

So update : P Just hit trading level 160. Have 4 caravans. 4 shops make between 2500 and 5600 a day depending. Im disappointed at how few merchant companions there are. But my two non merchant led caravans are leveling their trading skills and make decent money. I have a solid force of 90 ish with all archers and cav. Making huge sales all across calradia. What an awesome take on the game! Once i can buy territory and have 2 cities and 2 castles, i plan to join khuzait and carry my people to the top! Cant wait for the next part of thisplaythrough

Smithing tip: Bannerlord's traders only care about swing or thrust damage. I make basic falchions where I extend the blade to full length (thus maxing its damage at 129). The other components can be level 1. I sell them for 33K a piece and I make 5 at a time after I've smelted all the weapons from dead bandits. My character has 750, 000 denars and my biggest problem is that the economy doesn't have enough money for my expensive cheap swords. The weapon in my hand though (as a lvl 221 blacksmith) is worth 108, 000, but it's named after my son (Ieyasu's Protector), so I can never sell it. Man I love this game.

yo Hal I finally got bannerlord and I am loving it. Im going back through your trader series. I think im going to take your advice and not put my men in harms way.

Love this, well up my street with my own trade play through, the one thing I should have maybe done from the beginning is cherrypick the minor factions to attack, great income and from my 400 day play through only one of my caravans was destroyed and that was by bandits, I only started playing a week ago so I haven’t cheesed any of the broken mechanics but I just wanted to see if I can get my trade high enough to buy my first settlement, I have just hit clan teir 3 without being a vassal, mercenary or attacking any major faction or village. It’s a lot of work for me to potentially to buy some land and then for me to be attacked randomly because I’m a small clan with land (so I might be easy pickings in their eyes?) I just hope the game doesnt punish you for going this route, if anything it should congratulate you and reward you, knowing that my caravans are safe is reward enough I suppose, I pull 4K from 5 caravans and 1k from 4 workshops, I guess I’m doing something wrong with workshops. Also iv just recently seen that their is a upgraded caravan option that is separate from the trade skill perk, the guy says 15k or 22.5k for better guards. Not noticed this before

after watching your trade masterclass, I made more profit in one play session than I made in 5 days :D I already start trading tier 2 goods, making profits here and there and having enough capital to wipe out entire market in every cities. thanks for the great vid!

Tips for trading, buy stuff in villages. Especially if it's cheap, the prices don't increase then. And then you can sell it in towns for a very high price.

If u want a quick handout, fight thugs in cities, u will get some spices, jewels and some good enough loot to sell, after 3-4city fights u can sell the loot for a good 6-10k

Buy Aserai horses for about 400-500, easily sell them for 1,000, sometimes as much as 2000 to Vlandia. Easy money :)

Wich version of Bannerlord you are using ? As previously i was speaking about i had many problems with memory usage of RAM. Now i have 16 GB of memory and i can easy play without suttering/lag on medium/high but game easly reach 12 GB so that solve my problem. Great content as always i'm waiting for next episode also i checked your panel info and you my friend are from Romania ? You have magnificent english. Keep up good work.

I know this is cheating but I use Bannerlord tweaks to get more followers to create more caravans, I've gotten to the point where I just buy whatever castle or town I want.
