Finally someone that can explain day trades properly

I have a question! Since you purchased 500 shares and you got two partial fills equal to 400, is it possible to sell 500 that same day? Since you already are committed to the order? Or it wouldn’t be a possibility until the whole order goes through?

Hi clay. When you make an order of 500 ABC shares and only get a partial fill of 400, are you able to start selling the 400 shares that you have, or do you have to wait until the order of 500 shares is complete?

You are seriously the only person who explains it in Layman’s terms and I thank you! I opened up a Robinhood account about two weeks ago. Trust me when I say I know nothing but slowly I am learning.

Just saying the fact that you run a youtube channel and teach this stuff instead of being a fake guru and promoting your website is amazing to me keep grinding and posting the content man love it glad to find someone that actually teaches for once instead of pumping you full of motivational quotes and selling you a product

Wow that was an amazing intro into trading , clear and easy to follow Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I have a question regarding this lesson. If you were to buy 500 shares that would be your opening order , now if you sell 250 in the same day I understand that would be one day trade , so now what happens if you sell the remaining 250 shares the next day or some other time in the future? Would that just be considered a regular trade? I apologize if this is a silly question but I am just starting my education on trading I am a blank slate. Thanks again Clay!

Now that I'm actually in it, I know I have to watch this video and your other videos over and over to get it. I only have $100 in my account, right now.
