Since there's a desperation factor on his end, you gain the advantage. You simply say, Yes for the 3:1 trade but plus $1,000. or no deal. 90% buyer will give in. If not, no loss on ur part.

To everyone saying he got finessed, do y'all truly understand what a trade show is for? Or what an Open/Free Market entails? There's no taxes taken out, no set retail value. It's all re-sell so it's subjective. Some people wouldn't dare spend $200 let alone $2K+ on a shoe. You personally have to see the value in said product. & Since it's NO SET VALUE as long as he feels like he got a good deal then that's all that matters... Its only a finesse if: 1) you have a set value that you clearly overpaid or was underpaid for (You pay $3K for new iPhone) 2) you were lied to & given fakes (I.E. Rabbit Food #IYKYK) 3) they rob you! (You give them your part of the deal & they run off!!)
