Trading out of drawdowns...

I remenbered asking the same question back in the days to a hedge fund manager in Singapore. She told me to view trading as being like a casino manager. A casino manager isn't going to bankrptcy after a losing week. In fact, he couldn't care less because as you said he knows that at the end of the month or 3/6 month or year he will be in the green. Long term view is a better frame to work with indeed. You gave an interview back 6-7 years ago on the youtube channel UKspreadbetting where you said 'I got so many bad periods during my trading carrer I don't mind them much anymore' which is very true in term of being so used to bad trading periods that at some point when they come back we don't care anymore it's nothing we haven't seen before. I guess you have to get fuc*ed by the markets so many times you really don't phase anymore when things are going bad.

It's really tough when slippage just say F ur drawdown let's have some more. CPI made my SL slip and resulted in 3x the original amount. Very rough.. Not mentioning my short got stopped and then went straight to my 4 RR target without me.

Good vid Charlie, I've been trading for 3 years I've pretty much eliminated all mistakes e.g over trading revenge trading etc. However I am struggling with holding my winners my strategy doesn't have much of and edge at 1:1.5 1:2 risk rewards but has a great edge at 1:3 to 1:4. Any tips to be able to hold winners

My drawdowns come from mostly force trades. And trading when I dont see my set ups. If I can just stop doing foolish trading. I'll make it 😅
