I'm gonna take a guess and say your friend does his own reloading/handloading and casts his own bullets. It was funny. Before you mentioned it, I noticed the lead ingot glued under the bed. I noticed it says Lyman on it. Lyman is a handloading supply company and that was molded in one of their ingot trays for making cast lead bullets. Either that, or he just bought it from someone else. It was just cool seeing something of two of my hobbies in an RC video. Thanks for another fun video. 🤘
I think that the two-sided tape for the toolbox probably would have worked well just putting a couple pieces on the bedrails instead of down in the bed and having to double it. Nice job though. Liked the video.
It looks like he has the K5 Blazer emblems on the side which means this would have been a Blazer-to-pickup conversion. That said, I'd leave the tailgate alone if it were me...sweet rig! And the front bumper mount was a huge win!!

I wasn’t able to order the shiny new rc4wd truck due to unforeseen circumstances. I hope to have a chance to pick one up next time they in stock. I’m devastated but will get over it. Sh%t happens we deal with it right 🤣
Really love the extra cab lights on the cab. Over all one of his best looking Trucks he should be very proud of it and hold on to it. Make it better for him. Thanks for sharing your videos with us.
Just a tip for next time. I use the tip of my hobby knife to get the double sided tape backing to peel back. I carefully probe into until I get it to peel back. I get my Scottsdale on Wednesday hopefully. So stoked for my first scaler
I like the top lights and bumper. I don’t own a tool box but would be nice to see it removable from the inside by lifting the lid but if is a solid piece then it would take a little more fabrication.
Man I do like the K10 Chevy truck man they are right about the way they came on with the Chevy pickup truck and the other ones they are still awesome looking rc rigs. They are kicking up
That's a sweet rig, I really like the cab lights. I think you should add one of those cop spot lights that mounts to the driver's side door and an old school bent CB whip antenna, they certainly fit with aesthetic of the build. I also think a couple round lights inside the hoop of the front bumper would look cool. 👍👍
Get yourself a set of ball-end drivers for those fasteners that are in places where the driver can't go in straight. They've saved me from some headaches in the past for sure.
I like the cab roof lights. This truck is a good counter part to Shiny. The rims/hub combo is great. I like the utilitarian look with the pieplate hubcaps.
It would be a lot of work, its just a matter of time RC4wd will have a kit version and a body set available separately that will be ready to paint and assemble. Im waiting on that and saving my blue one for another project.
