The folklore group Azabache (Asociación Folclore Azabache de Gijón) performed in July at Paseo de Begoña in Gijon in northern Spain. They are wearing traditional Asturian clothes while dancing to traditional Asturian music. Enjoy!

This is so amazing! I had a really good friend from Asturias! He used to tell me about the culture quite often! Doing a little bit of exploration myself. It’s a part of Spain I hope to still visit one day! Viva Asturias!

Why is that one guy wearing a fleur de lis on his outfit?

Hi, while the Fleur de Lis is specially associated with France, it is a known symbol that has expanded to other European countries. For instance, it appears in the coat of arms of the King of Spain from the House of Bourbon as shown in the Spanish flag. Hope you enjoyed the video.
