It’s such a great way to bring books to life for kids. Give them a snack that connects with the story and invite them to pretend to be part of the story while they enjoy it.
I literally did not know that about why dried fruit is so common in traditional English baking - and I am English (whoops). Loved the bit of history too. Brings a whole new appreciation to these foods!
