Greetings extended family
My cousin Mam Binta is taking over today!!! This video is all about cooking infaar in The Gambia during Ramadan.
Since I am the camera woman today, Mam Binta will be talking us through the traditional cooking of The Gambia.
So this specific day was on a saturday when we cook a little extra for the local mosque.
When muslims break their fast, it is called iftaar. So everything we were cooking was not eaten until sundown and during the night.
