Yes! That back up style is a real thing lol! Yes, sisterlocks braidouts have been good to me, in comparsion to my loose natural braidout days 😊.

Thank you so much for both videos erm after hearing the differences, I've changed my mind again and gonna go with traditional loss lol I was sooo set on getting sister lots but then kept going back and fourth however, knowing my personality i think lots will be better suited for me. I have loved watching your videos!! Getting sisterlocs in two weeks and I’m so nervous about which rotation to go with. I have 4 type as well. What made you decide to go with the 4 point? LIKED and SUBSCRIBED 🥰

Thanks so much boo! excited for your new journey beginning in two weeks! I actually didn't decide to go with my rotation. Your sisterlocks consultant decides the rotation for you based on your hair type and density. 3 point rotation is usually for thinner hair because as it locks it creates thicker locks so that way your hair can thicken out a little compared to having a 4 point rotation. since I have super dense and course hair, 4 point rotation made sense for me because my hair is already thick. As you can see, my locks have settled but my hair is still really thick, imagine if I got a 3 point rotation! wheeeww chilleeee. lol I hope that helps.

@@myrnasthilaire4494 You have no idea how helpful your video and reply to my comment is! Whew. My hair is dense and course too. My consultant gave me to option to have the 3 or 4 because both will work with my hair. I was afraid that the 4 point wouldn’t allow me to have body BUT after watching your video, I know I can still have body. Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much!!! Don’t know how you get your studying in AND make these videos but I sure do enjoy them.

You will definitely get lots of body and volume with 4 point rotation, I couldn't imagine what it would be like with 3-point on my coarse hair haha. Ive got so much volume! Either one you go with, your locks will be beautiful and you will look gorgeous! If you know anyone that could benefit from these, please share!

i think yours are the prettiest sl i have seen thus far. that may have to do with facial structure and how they match your face. i believe i heard you say you are in to year 2 and you still haven't fully locked. i think that too has a lot to do with how the hair falls and frames your face. i have seen persons with lovely natural curl patterns lose them, when the hair has matured and the ends have swollen. i also heard you say you use nothing but water on your locks. i know that 4c coarse hair shrinks drastically when wet. your 2nd year shows significant lengthening, which is not consistent with results i see on youtube. do you think this is so because you haven't fully locked as yet? how do the sl extensions help in your process? thanks for responding. btw - twin's locks are beautiful too. 2 perfect examples of both methods.

Hi! this is such a thoughtful comment and I am happy to answer your questions and be helpful where I can be! since making this video, I am now a little over 2 years locked (2 years and one month to be exact!) and I have serious hang time. I do not think my hair is 100% lock'ed only because the ends still hold their curls and haven't completely bulbed yet. However, my hair is really matured so I think that does contribute to how they are retaining a lot of length now. I have also been seeing a lot of hair growth over these past two years and I really believe it is due to the lack of too many hair products on my hair and really just letting it breathe! I don't do a lot of manipulation with my locks unless I am going out, and the only products I use on my hair are the Neutrogena shampoo I have and oil to help with my dry scalp. other than that, my hair is allowed to do its thing.

Hi sis, I do have 4C loose natural hair. My hair is loc'd right now so it can be hard to tell. Please refer to my first video with my two-year journey where I have a picture of my loos natural 4c afro. Of course, the strands of hair distributed throughout our head are different textures but my main texture is super course and thick 4c hair. I am not sure if you are using my loc'd hair as an indicator for your comment, but my loose natural texture has always 4C.
