I can see her grandma and grandpa are so happy, proud and surprised because of her dance. This is the first time I saw the palatial dance probably in the Samoa dance. I'm so proud of her.
Who taught you this dance ? I have been eyeing uo this dance for my wedding next year but i myself am a palangi and am stiff as a stick so will need alot of practise 😂 my partner is samoan so would love to learn this for him and his parents x
This is beyond beautiful! I've never seen this dance before but I can tell that nailing each and every piece of it meant more to her than anything. That's when you know that she loves you and your culture! Beautiful, I love it!
My husband is Hawaiian (another Polynesian culture) those dances are so hard, the hand movements are so delicate and important. I would not have dared (but then I was 40, so...). But I did have my sister in law make hula tapes for me, the moves are quite similar - I am not as good as she, but I tried and that was for love of my husband and his culture, Good job!
