@@bdwcleaningservices I’m still in my car. It’s such a good runner and just keeps going. Have 150l in barrels and pure freedom trolley with a gardiner slx. Saving up for a van and when I get one it will be a big game changer. Mostly use to doing trad though and customers seem much more satisfied. You can’t wipe the ledges with a pole, like you can with a cloth. See what the next year brings 😃👍
As you already know when you are cleaning windows. That way, dreading, and you re putting like very liquid on the windows. When it rains, they get dirty straight away.
Another great informative video as I do either way but I messed up this morning on a new customer of doing the whole house traditional but she was pleased that the stickers where removed on the above windows where the other company doing water fed or as she put it jet wash. But they haven’t returned. Just a question matey did you do the apex above the front entrance off the ladder or walked on the apex roof? Appreciate the videos mate and top job. I know a window cleaner who is in to extreme sports which obviously comes with a danger. But all his work is WFP. He criticises me for being mostly trad because of H and S. I understand what he is saying. But I don’t tell him to stop doing his sports. Don’t get me wrong WFP is more easier and why wouldn’t you want your work to be easier and safer. But the thing is I’m just use to this way of working. But do need to make life easier and safer where I can. All I’m saying is peoples business is nothing to do with anyone else apart from them and the customers. If they are abiding by the law then let them crack on.
Can I just ask please Ken If starting out what length ladder do I need for typical house trad windows and what size for gutter clearance? Thanks a lot mate.
That's a difficult question! I use a 9 rung triple ladder for window cleaning small houses. I don't do gutter cleaning but I'd think you would need a longer ladder. Some people will say not to use ladders but that's what I use.
