Wow the top few questions in the lightning round were excellent, and their answers to be extremely insightful. If we don't immerse ourselves in our work and dedicate our devotion to those vocational skills, perhaps we aren't doing the right type of work that best serves ourselves. I can't imagine this misalignment not having material impacts on the successful outcomes of our teams/companies. If the majority of us showed up to perform at our jobs with the same passion we have with other areas of our lives, I imagine that energy, with the proper focus, isn't amplified in the things we collectively produce. Or maybe I'm a workaholic and require intervention.
As a former GovCon its fascinating to listen to people who have no idea how contracting works (Harry) talk to people who do (Trae). Monopsonies are weird animals, and rare. Good episode.
As a former GovCon person, its interesting to hear people who have no idea how contracting actually works (Harry) talk to people who do (Trae). Great episode.
Incredible interview. Trae is a fount of wisdom and conviction, and Harry did does a great job with questions and adapting to where the conversation was going.
