Thank goodness you made it across to France. You are definitely right though, the channel tunnel is the best way to travel to Europe. We go that route because of our dogs, but it is just such a good service 😎

I was doing medical cover and driver for a charity cycling event from Coventry to Paris.. we hit the tunnel on Friday afternoon so yes I feel your pain 5 1/2 hours to travel less than two miles

We love Brugges. Go to the Diamond museum, if only to marvel at the tour guide speaking 4 different languages. Charlie ;; I did check with Vera Lynn and the Cliffs of Dover are naturally White. However, the locals of Dover have yet to see any Blue Birds flying over them. I think they should spray the seagulls blue in Dover. What a tourist attraction that would be ? Definitely watching this tour with eagle eyes as I intend to travel abroad for the first time in a month's time. Thanks for the "what3words" for sites and park ups.

After finding out about the ferries and delays, I immediately thought of you guys. Seems that you faired better then most whom had a 30 hours delay! Your first port of call looked great (Bruge) and you did more than we did. we just headed straight down south on their autoroute while criss-crossing the river Rhone and It looked stunning. Thanks for the review on the scooter. I'm tempted but would prefer one of those with a seat. Can hardly wait for your next video. All the best to you both. Dave. T. xx

A great start to your travels. We are away from the 14th and hoping it's calmed down. We are on the Eurotunnel and that seems to be getting worse now. It's 8 hours from up north so fingers crossed.

Love the video guys. Be careful with the drone though. In many European countries there are tons of laws, restrictions, permits and hefty penalties

Great vlog. You were quite lucky to take 6 hours to get to the check in as some people apparently have been queuing for 15 hours plus but so glad you made it. Bruges is a fabulous and brilliant city. Great video, found it a bit odd you'd never seen the white cliffs of Dover, but hope you enjoyed the sight. They are the culmination of the North downs as Beachy head in Sussex(east) is the culmination of the South downs, Belgium is rather nicer than France in my opinion, I need to visit Germany for familial links 😂👍

Out of interest, as my husband and I will be travelling to Calais from Dover in September, what are the kind of questions that the French ask, such as how much money you have for the duration of your visit Where you’re staying for the duration etc Because we plan on stealth car camping and finding French aires and maybe book a night or 2 at a campsite. So we plan to go with out a destination booked.

Hi, we enjoy your videos but like some others we were very disappointed that you used P&O Ferries, they should not be allowed to continue trading in the UK following their criminal behaviour towards their staff. Please don't give people false information. Everyone's so quick to blame Lorry Drivers, get your facts right, you said, quote: '' There seems to be a Lorry protest going on'' . Just because you see a long queue of trucks you automatically assume Trucks are the problem.. The actual problem is BREXIT and all the idiots who voted for it and a hard border. It's not the Lorry Drivers fault, they're just trying to do their job delivering the goods in amongst all the mayhem caused by all these ''Holiday Makers'' turning up at the same time with not one thought there may be thousands of others doing the same thing. I expect most of these people voted for Brexit so they have to reap what they sow and stop moaning. I don't understand the thought process of all this lot... ''Oh we'll just all clear off to France, as no one else will be doing the same thing'' , come on it's the 1st week of school holiday! 🤪 Oh just one more thing, in the picture you put on at 1:55 , everyone has winter coats and woolly hats on, that's definitely not from last week which was the hottest week of the year. I'm sick of people thinking it's always the Lorry Drivers fault when something goes wrong. We don't get the respect we deserve, where would everyone be without trucks delivering all their stuff?..
