It's really sad that Traffic Global is so hard to setup. "Live Traffic" Free plugin has the planes on the radar TCAS right away. They should fix this - Thanks for the video though.
Thanks for your comment. Yeah we have talked about the TCAS a lot inside our beta test group. But as the Main developer said, for now, there is no other way, to get AI's indicated on the ND's. At least, it isn't so hard, you just have to know, how to do. ☺ But yeah, I have already reported the missunderstoods. And the manual isn't really clear, maybe they will change it some day, but for now, the guys have to be happy, what I did today. But ja, I am on your side.
PaRaBaS Yes. But then there’s the radar in the plugin. It makes absolutly no sense. You don’t know your direction, and it doesn’t show standard stuff like is the plane above or below. You can off cause look at altitude, but why ? :-)
Your own position was added in an earlier test version we had, I don't know, why this feature was taken out. At this time, the radar had make sense. We are still working hard to get all the reported iasues get fixed and new features will be implemented later on. So this release isn't the end. Please be patient. And thanks for the “radar“ hint, I will report that. Maybe we will get our position back, that the radar makes sense again.
Just tried this, but it's not working, when I click on AI aircraft in the XP menu, I have the following listed, Beechcraft, 737, 747, Skyhawk, Cirrus, King Air, MD-82, S-76, Traffic Global TCAS. If I select Traffic Global, no aircraft show when departing, even though aircraft are close by in the air, in cruise, the map shows lots of aircraft symbols, but there are actually no aircrat near me! If I change the AI setting to a mix of 737 and 747, I now have aircraft showing during cruise continually in my area, but they in no way match where the TG aircraft are in the game!! The whole TCAS system is very confusing. What is the correct way to set up TCAS if you only have TG install, and not the others that you mention in the video.
@@solarsun1748 Hi, I have moved on to different games now, but I think I did fix it. The reason it didn't work for me was because I was flying with a friend using the XP IP connection option. This conflicted with TG. When I was flying single player, TG worked just fine. Hope you find a solution too.
I don't know what you mean with Windows 7. But if you Open up the installer of TG, earlier than later you will come to the point, where you have to select your XP Root folder, as in every other program installer. You just have to know, where your XP folder is located.
