Best of luck in Maryville bro, Looking forward to the trip, last year was a little bit of a bummer when I thought I was having clutch issues but I changed the oil back to Mobile 1 and so far, so good! Idk why but it might have been the Motul 300v , there might be a chance that the a Barnett clutch was put in, the previous owner never got back with me on it but it's been running strong and we're looking fwd to getting some miles in !! Bro so pumped to get back down to these roads!
5 clicks in comp and 4 clicks in on rebound, 4 clicks in on rear. I feel like I need stiffer springs, I’m almost to the bottom of travel and I’m ruining the sides of my boots
@Antprilia. that's crazy I have a new 2023 here In the UK I have had to back the front forks right off to 20 clicks out they are so hard from factory but the roads over here are real bumpy and crap not nice and smooth like that, I have got the rear set nice now tho. Hope you enjoy the new bike 👍
@Antprilia. thanks for the info I have a 2023 690smc r and been struggling with the front end feel compared to my old 701 after much digging around I think I have found that the spring rates are the same but the 701 uses 2.5WT fork oil and the ktm uses 5.0WT fork oil and that's why I feel it's harsh over bumps! Now I can hopefully get it sorted, all the best with the new 701 you look like your flying on it.

@@Antprilia. Hi fb page shows he loaded everything up and went back to California. he wouldn't be the first to get banned from the Dragon, there was a dentist from Waynesville back in the mid 90's. There have always been unspoken rules regarding fast riding there, locals like yourself know and follow them, Max didn't. Good riddance.
New one is better because it feels more stable, I guess because it’s lower. Since it’s lower, I’m tearing up my boots!!! Plus new one has quick shift up and down, auto blip and trac control. I don’t use the trac control or abs, but the quick shift is nice when it’s working.. needs to go back to shop and get reprogrammed
