Cracks like that are especially bad at night. Unless they had a shortage of available cruisers for the day, that crack may have happened during the shift. It is impossible to tell if a crack is 10 minutes old or a year old.

The officers aren't in charge of fixing their patrol units. Can't blame him for that one.

It was really fun 1970-1980 when the speed limit was 55 everywhere. In West Texas and the panhandle it is a looong way between towns and no one drove 55 all the time. Now it is 80 in some places. Since some people have a mindset that forces them to NEVER go less than 10 mph over the speed limit. I lived near a toll road with a speed limit of 80. There were TERRIBLE wrecks on that road! They weren’t “accidents” because driving 90-100 mph is almost an inevitable crash. ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT!

The police can't tell when you have had insurance. It is your responsibility, not theirs, to prove you have liability insurance.

@@V0latyleUSMC All the police had to do is ask the driver who is his insurance company and if he cannot thell the police his insurance company then he get a ticket for no insurance and if he tell the police who his insurance company is the police will call the insurance company and they will tell the police the last time he had insurance ! facts , and if the police give them a warning they will think it is ok to drive with no insurance and if this guy hit you or your family how will he pay for your car and injuries, they dont have 2 nickels to rub together now you will have to sue your insurance company and they will raise your rates and the police can run your license plate and it will tell them who is your insurance company , if your license is suspended and if your registration expired just by running your license plate , facts !
