Wow I watch Ink Master for years and had no clue that a lot of talent that were on the show passed away…may they all continue to rest easy…

I was sad to hear about Geary Morrill + Cummings. Both were very talented. I'm 46 + in 2022 I was also diagnosed with stage 4 colon/rectal cancer. I had surgery in February to remove my colon. I did radiation, chemo pills + chemo infusions as well. I'm sitting here today feeling the best I've felt in 2 yrs. I'm so grateful...especially when I hear how common colon cancer is now. I'm still here for reason. If all I can do to help someone is say, get a colonoscopy at 40 then I hope someone listens. I know it sounds awful but you're unconscious. Promise, you won't feel a thing. May all who passed over rest easy. And God Bless everyone out there struggling with illness 🙏

It' s harrowing to see so many people get such aggressive cancers at such incredibly young ages. Ehlers-Danlos and these other auto-immune diseases also puts people in a crippling amount of pain...so said especially for people that needs that joint mobility for their livelihood.

I bumped into Christian at a horror convention a few years ago & he was extremely nice. He asked if I wanted a pic with him, & I told him no because he was at the convention with his family. I just wanted to tell him that I was a fan.

Geary was one of the kindest, sweetest people I've ever met and made multiple 6-7 hour sessions fly by with ease. You could tell he just had such a passion for art in general and genuinely cared about people, especially his family. I've always felt very proud to have been one of his many canvases and carry his art with me

I’ve got a full sleeve and a few other tatts from Halo. He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. The girl in the pictures with him is his fiancé Missy, who is such a lovely kind person too. They make a wonderful couple ❤

I had the privilege to be tattooed by Ryan Hadley. He was on the master/apprentice season. The show made him look like an ass, but Ryan is a great guy. Sadly, he is nearing the end of his life from cancer as well. He has 5 beautiful children and is so young. It is heartbreaking 💔 😢

Scott Marshall did my first tattoo when he was at Vanity Tattoo in Roselle, IL. He was an amazing person, an amazing friend, and is dearly missed.

I grew up with Halo in baltimore. He was part of the late 90s early 2000s Juggalo mallrat scene (whitemarsh side). He wasnt exactly a juggalo but he did all our tattoos. He was a much much larger guy back then. He's also a huge nerd. We use to play magic and Hero clicks at a spot called Chucks comics. Hes a cool dude and very talented. He also does amazing car paintjobs.

One thing I hated about this show is that it made people think artists had to look all pierced up and weird and be “rad” . I’m an artist and not heavily tattooed, and I’ve lost potential customers because people would actually think I wasn’t that good because I didn’t have that “look”.

I feel bad about how many people and who've passed away in their 30s and 40s. Sending so much love and positive vibes to the families of those who have had to lose those specific tattoo artists who had participated in the show.

This was super interesting and moving ❤

What about Ryan Hadley how could y’all forget him. He died of cancer. RIP bro

I have a permanent ileostomy and no rectum or colon/large intestine, I’m lucky compared to those who found colon cancer in late stages. Mine was precancerous but I was dx with Crohn’s disease in 1996 as a kid so I had routine testing

I've just been diagnosed with EDS at 26, symptoms starting as a kid. That shit sucks ass.

These are all equally as devastating, but Clint’s death shook me to my core. He was my favorite of all time and it broke my heart. Sending love to everyone who has lost someone too soon.

Season 4 was the best season. They were so many amazing artists.

Noooo! Scott passed away??? I had no clue. That's really sad. He was a great tattoo artist, and seemed like a genuine, nice dude. I can't imagine what his wife must have gone through. My heart breaks 💔 😢 for her, and his family

I have several tattoos, so I am not against them at all. But, there is so much cancer associated with these artists that it makes me wonder if there is a connection. They are most all heavily tattooed themselves. Maybe large amounts of ink get into the bloodstream and has a negative impact upon bodily functions. Wonder if anyone has researched this?

Gia Rose is now stealing money from artists. Really sad she stopped that low.

Had no idea so much darkness plagued the show but illegal use should not be considered “accidental” if the person knows about it.

Don't forget to mention the one who is in her 20s but looks like shes in her 50s. That was pretty damn tragic. And no drug overdose is accidental, you do drugs you accept the risk and potential that death absolutely will happen from doing it. Thats choice not happenstance. There is nothing accidental or tragic about overdosing.

Wonder if toxins in the ink have anything to do with their cancer?
