3:12 I live in the southern US, and I grew up putting bread in the fridge and freezer during the summer, because even with all the preservatives and stabilizers in US sandwich bread, it still molds quick with the high heat and humidity.
@@fssstyuniaf or just lovely fresh food every day. Before preservatives were added and fridges and freezers were a thing, people didn't store perishable food but bought or made them in small quantities so it was always fresh. And also preserved stuff differently, like a lot of jams, pickles, cured and smoked meats and fish, a lot of things that are fine just in a dry dark place like a basement pantry (additional benefit: it's usually cooler below the earth, especially if the house has porper stone grounding and basement).
bread in the fridge yes! esp in summer. doesn't go bad as fast that way. but don't put it in the freezer, the freezer changes the structure and makes it all crumbly and yucky
"you can't live off two bottles of vodka, cheese, eggs and ketchup" - with respect George, as evidence to the contrary I present myself... who lived off that for about 3 years during uni.
I gave myself scurvy by only eating toast and drinking wine during my party years. So I started putting tomato on the toast and drinking orange juice 😂 human bodies are remarkable in their tolerance!
@@-oliveeyeahh it wasn't actually stolen, last year it broke so we had to take it out and I took a picture of it for some reason so I tweeted that picture
3:48 I have 3, a large 2 door one for the kitchen and food, a smaller 1 door one for the drinks, and a mini bar fridge in the garage for the man cave alcohol and snacks.
@8:00 cool whip is basically whipped cream. i could see someone using it in larger quantities for baking but that's still an insane amount. i'm curious if there's a story there. (big sale? they just like to eat it straight?)
Hi! That’s my fridge! So I was doing a charity pie throwing event for my sorority and had to store it in my bf very empty at the time fridge we thought it was funny and took a pic.
