I remember I was trying to learn the accordian, I even had instructions from a corrido professional. I got decent but never good enough for a band. I wanted to be the first black accordian player in corrido history lol.
Thank you this helps a lot. I just got my first Horner Panther accordion and well I’m wanted to learn how to play since my uncles are in the music industry
My grandma used to force me to play the accordion and I was never interested, now I really regret not learning at a young age and have to pay it back learning all over
I’ve had an accordion signed by Celso piña that I only knew how to play la cumbia sampuesana but I’ve been trying to learn and this video made it so easy
Thank you many take 10 plus minutes but you did it fast and clear so we can pause it better and be able to do it . This is my first song I play thanks to you
Thank you! I have the same one… you explained and showed it perfectly 👍🏽 i just have trouble with the very end…. Is that something I’ll start getting si practico más?
Can you please do a tutorial on las noches by Junior H the accordion part I want to play it for my friends birthday it’s his favorite song I’d love if you could help me 🙏🏽
I think the first 6 he says is the beats but then switches to counting numbers as the notes in the scale. Not sure but the last ones made sense 321 - mi, re, do.
@@jasonjaramillo3243 yes but this accordion is in GCF so it won't be in the same key. If you use the same position the song will be in Bb instead of DO
So tell me please - the left hand buttons make no sound by them selves? I bought a beautiful used one but unlike a "conventional" accordion I grew up playing, the left side makes no sound by itself - just air. Thanks!
No, the left hand buttons do make sound. Traditionally they are bass and chords, so they provide accompaniment. But as more instrumentation was added to the ensemble, people stopped using the left hand altogether. In my accordion, I took the left hand reeds out so I use those buttons as air only
@@herrerajucla I feel like its a crutial thing to point out I had zero clue what this was and not to mention it doesn’t even say in a manual that comes with the accordion or many beginner guides for that matter
It's the DO scale. Like 1 is first note of scale. 2 is second note of scale. 3 is 3rd note... Practice the scale and you'll learn the song in 5 mins m otherwise it takes like 10 times longer..
@@herrerajucla so by that you mean its in key of G? I want to buy one at a local music store and its 650 and in the key of F. What did you get yours for if you don't mind me asking. Cheers compa!
Andrew Casillas yeah i guess you can say it’s in the key of G. gCF means it’s in the keys of G C and F. If you get a F accordion , it’s in the keys of F Bb and Eb. I got mine for $500 maybe
Hey, I appreciate you teaching us this.. I would like to learn the tune of last 5 seconds of this video, is there a way you could slow that down? Or break it up? Thanks again
