We have been travelling full-time in our caravan with 3 little kids since February 2019! We are always looking for products that can help make our lives, and setup simpler and easier. The Trail-A-Mate hydraulic jack & jockey wheel is definitely one of those products.
The Trail-A-Mate allows us to painlessly and effortlessly un-hitch the caravan from our 4WD and level the van easily, doing away with the typical windy-windy jockey wheel. We use the flat plate attachment 100% of the time, providing an incredibly stable support compared to a standard jockey wheel.
Changing a tire on our 3 tonne tandem axel caravan hadn't even crossed our mind until we used the Trail-A-Mate! Its ability to jack up the entire side of the van without breaking a sweat made us think what on earth would we have done without it!
