Oh man, I'm really sorry for your loss. It is tragic and very hard to accept it. I can understand how this might make you refrain from riding, the memories tend to haunt. However, you may, in time, see going off riding as a way to remember Kelly, honoring your special friendship by returning to old places and exploring new ones. Maybe making a special project in his memory. All these things can help. Good luck and best wishes to you and to Kelly's next of kin.
