Trail Running to Blanca Lake (North Cascades) 

I have fun recreating in the North Cascades. Specifically, I'm headed to Blanca Lake, one of the most spectacular lakes and a hidden gem in the state of Washington. It does not disappoint, especially with it all to myself! I enjoy the solitude and looking at (but not swimming in) the turquoise glacial water that is not covered in ice. It's the perfect early summer trail run/hike, even with some trademark "postholing" through snow to get there.
