Trail running to Negoiu peak 

With an elevation of 2.535 meters, Negoiu peak is the 2nd highest in Romania, after Moldoveanu peak with 2.544 m. Situated in the Fagaras mountain range, Negoiu peak can be approached by trail either from the west or east. This video shows part of the trail coming from east which it's pretty technical, with lots of rocks and some climbing. You also have to pass the "Devil's Lathe" (Strunga Dracului), an even more technical section, with danger of falling rocks. This part, of approximately 180 m, is officially closed and can be bypassed using a lower altitude trail.
