Cool video. Glad you enjoyed the trails. FWIW, Point Mugu 4x4 Club maintains Lockwood Trail from the trailhead near Lockwood Valley Road to Sunset Campground (your lunch spot). Bakersfield Trailblazers maintains Miller Jeep Trail from Sunset Campground to Dutchman Campground at the top of Alamo Mountain. Both trails are considered hard trails. If you have any specific issues with any portion of either trail, please let us know.

That’s my favorite local trail. The internet says it’s easy but the forest service rates it as most difficult. I didn’t know it was open. Gonna have to make a run up there soon. Good job on the trail and video!

1. I could not go that slow holy cow haha I get tho on some parts you have to like those steep rocky spots but those open dirt fire roads Aw man 2. No idea how you off road with stuff josslin around and hangin around and swinging all over the place lol 3. That first legit obstacle: should’ve been a straddle down the middle the entire time. That keep maverick did it perfect Sick video really shows the challenging parts of this trail!!

Solid hard trail for the sequoia. More to come. Gotta get my sliders on, then we’ll see about more gear. Think I need a new fuel tank skid plate 😉😅

Guz went driver too hard. You have to keep the passenger side on that rock. I’ve seen so many trucks get stuck either going right to too far left. The keyos to keep it close to center. Go left a bit soon as the right tire is on that rock start turning right.

A lot of these rigs are overdone and too big. I do these trails with ease in my $7000 Ford Ranger 4 x 4. No need for a $70,000 car. I do get a kick out of how many people give me funny looks when they go by in their jeep Rubicon with all their fancy stuff.
