Rob, you are welcome! Those donuts were fantastic. Of you ever see a Parlor Donuts place, try them. I fell in love with that place now it’s my favorite out of all the places I’ve been to. 👍🏻
Good bless your metabolism 😂. I workout everyday day sometimes 2x a day on my reset 1.5hr ( only a hour on the second time if I do 2x ), competed and everything and can’t get away with eating all that lol. When I was younger I would be able to get away with it but now no way 😢😂, time has caught up and can’t stay at 7-10% bf now staying around 13-15%
13-15% body fat is good. I’m not sure where I’m at on my body fat. 7 percent is not healthy for a long time. Working out is just a part of it but your diet is the most important which I’m sure you know since you’ve competed. My metabolism sucks, I put on weight easy. It’s important not to overeat your needed calories. I only make it to the gym probably 2 times per week and I don’t workout longer than an hour and a half. I rarely do cardio. I’m 43 so can’t say I’m at an age that has good metabolism. 😁
Alex, being diabetic I had to shoot myself while watching you devour those great donuts. Incidentally, my local bakery has calorie free donuts. You pay for the pastry, but the calories are free. Enjoy!
It's unfortunate that you had an issue with the trailer brakes. I hope next week will be good for you. Alex, I have a question. When you purchased the trailer, did you buy the chains, straps, and tarps at the same time or did you purchase them after buying the trailer? Thanks for the Great Video...
Thank you! I am happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Hope to back on the road asap. I can’t remember if I bought my securement equipment before or after trailer but I bought it at Myteeproducts.com
Sorry about your luck. The good paying loads coming out of NC, where they all around the Charlotte area? I need the recipe for that pasta, meatballs and chicken dish lol 43 grams of protein and less than 500 calories is a nice ratio!
Thank you Jeff! Yes the loads were coming out of NC, different cities. Going to California, Florida, Utah. The meals are healthy choice meals from Walmart. They are in the freezers. I just buy chicken breast and cook it when I’m home and add it to the meals to get that extra protein or if I’m mot home I’ll by a bag of cooked grilled chicken and do the same. The meals are low fat and moderate on carbs. I make them high with protein. I also by 2 % cottage cheese because that’s high in protein and low fat and barely any carbs. It’s like 13 grams protein per serving which is 90 calories.
@@jeffreycoon9634 If you go to Walmart, in the isle with all the chips, they have rice cakes. I get caramel flavored. It’s 50 calories per rice cake and it has a bit of carbs on there. I put my cottage cheese on the rice cake and eat it like that but sometimes just cottage cheese alone. I also buy protein bars and sometimes protein shakes. I try to stay at 1800 calories per day and at least one gram of protein per pound of body weight. Protein is very important to maintain muscle mass. 😁
@@Mr.AlexKogan Thanks for the info. Foods high in protein is the only way I can fill full for decent amount of time and with the kind of work we do we have to watch every calorie. I’ve noticed lately that I’m losing strength so I’ve got to get my butt in the gym or at least start doing something extra.
Hi Alex. Great vids, been following them for a while. Would you be open to helping me setup my CDL start? I’m located in Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. Thanks
Quiero dejar mi trabajo. Y poner me hacer hot shot si los números que dices son reales me conviene pero son número libres para ti oh antes de cortar todos los gastos
Alex, I understand your pain and frustrations with electric brakes. I had purchased from Kaufman a brand-new gooseneck kind of like you have, except mine was a single wheel double axel with electric brakes. After running for about 20K miles, I started to lose breaks on a trailer as well due to the electrical issues. I was in the shop almost on weekly bases. Because of that, I was forced to ran light loads, so that means that very often I was losing money. If I would know of such issues at the beginning, I would purchase a trailer with hydraulic brakes. Friend of mine switched from electric to hydraulic and he absolutely loves it. Safe, very responsive and you don't have to worry about going North in the winter. I would recommend you to stich to the hydraulic system. Best of the luck to you and may God keep you safe. BeeMax Transport.
My trailer is electric over hydraulic disk brakes not the electric drums. Electric drums are complete trash. I’d never get that. It seems like the problem was low brake fluid causing the elctric pump to not pump the hydraulic fluid. I was told there’s a safety mechanism that senses low fluid and the pull stops working to it doesn’t burn up. 🤷♂️
Hey Alex I’m having the same issues on my 40 foot bigtex trailer, brakes seems not to be working most likely bec of leaky seals but I’m hoping if you can make a video of it when you get it back thanks!
Hey brother, great video! I had a quick question about your pre meals, could you be able to explain or show how you heat up your food because I’m very interested into meal prepping and even going to buy the same fridge as yours! Also what size fridge do you use? Again amazing content keep your head up and God will answer many of your blessings! 🙏🏽👍🏽
Thank you my friend. Yes I can show you in one of my next videos when I hit the road. I honestly don’t remember the size of the fridge. I think it’s 23 quart if I’m correct. F40C4TMP Portable 12 Volt Refrigerator, 23 Quart (22L) Portable Car Freezer, -8℉ to 50℉ Compressor 12V Fridge for Camping, Road Trip, Travel, Van, Truck, RV, Outdoor and Home, 12/24V DC & 110~240V AC a.co/d/9cE503v
Thank you for watching. I don’t keep them rolled up in the sliding track because I don’t like to throw the hook end over the load. I prefer to hold the hook and throw the strap over the load. Plus keeping them on the track takes more work to wind each one on there then unwind when you want to strap the load. Also in winter time if you have freezing rain, it’s over when they are on the track.
Hey donut man good call to take care of that trailer issue same happen to me and was a faulty fuse in the truck for the wire harness connection be safe out there and enjoy ur donuts bro
Thank you my friend. I can check but doubt it’s the fuse because I had this issue before. Had the plug for the trailer harness checked and it’s fine. I’ll look for the fuse and see if it’s ok though.
Gus you are welcome. Glad you enjoyed the video. It’s not the actual brakes that have an issue it’s the pump that pumps the hydraulic fluid to the brakes. It works intermittently but the trailer is parked now and will be in the shop this Monday 👍🏻
@@gusfernandez8486 so I have about 90k on my trailer. My brake pads are still in good shape. You never want to have your brake controller in the truck turned up high so you don’t wear out your brakes on the trailer. I didn’t understand your question about the 8k axles but axles aren’t brakes, they are the beams between your wheels. My trailer has 12k axles. I hope that answered what you were asking but if not please let me know 👍🏻
Not from once a week. I don’t do it every day and I did a glucose monitor test before the donuts and 3 times after with one hour time intervals to see how my body handles the sugar load. I keep it monitored 👍🏻😁
@@Mr.AlexKoganyou’re doing it correctly by paying attention to your blood sugar, don’t pay attention to all the ignorant people that don’t understand the process and don’t know that you can eat almost anything in moderation and everyone’s body is different
