I am not aware of "Sullivan and son", but I am VERY familiar with the actual lively hood and expressions of a hair dresser in this modern age. I have taught hair dressers, around the world for over 25 years and I must express my deep dis-satisfaction with the trailer, pilot, of this new program. What we do is an art... a visual art that walks around every day and is viewed (experienced) every day by 10's - 1,000's of people. But that is not only what we do. We elevate the frequency of everyone we encounter. We help give hope, internal satisfaction, joy and confidence to those who often are in need of it most - that which could actually label all of us "therapists" during these trying times of challenge in many areas of existence. What "we" actual do, on all levels, effects all of humanity on every level. We are the only "hands on" professionally acknowledged industry in the world that people do not fear... a place to decompress, a place to relax, to put your trust in another and know that on the other side you are going to feel good about yourself. What "we" do is a gift... it should always be portrayed as that. Period.
