I think John wick has just created such an interesting lore around it and imo cementing itself as some of the best action films for this generation. None of the 3 have been bad and the 4th looks great. Love this franchise and excited to see this one

This is why I love Equilibrium, because even at the end, Christian Bale is still in a class by himself, nobody can touch him. Always hate that creators think that the hero always has to be challenged to the point where you think he might loose. Sometimes you just want the protagonist to be a bad ass and just outclass everyone.

I liked, that the main combat antagonists, Dacascos and the two guys he fought before him, knew exactly who John is and they pay him respect and honor the fight they are having with him. Dacascos was a bit over the top fanboying for my taste, but he resepected him. He was the classic hopeful gun man in old wester movies, who dreams of becoming the best by challanging the best and pays the ultimate price.

This could be the best JW. Every scenes are soooo EPIC and the cast especially Donny Yen will be classic for years to come. Let’s hope the fight scenes will not be too unbelievable but real enough where fight moves are realistic but can be over the top.

I hope keanu did a little extra training for this one to keep up with yen. Not trying to be a hater but when he fought the short guy from the raid in the last one I felt like I noticed that the fight could only be so good due to the martial arts skill difference. Keanu shines like no other when it comes to gun fu but I want them to solve the choreography problem of pairing him next to martial arts legends. Obviously he can't equal yens skill but I think you can still make jaw dropping fight scenes with the two with the right vision.

There's nothing saying that John's impossible task(s) was widely known outside the russian mob leaders or high table associated people or NYC for that matter. The first movie basically had all russian mob guys and locals who would know just how scared to be. Other assassins may know of the name - and leaders in that assassin world may know just how good John really is but I think the general international assassins coming after him is plausible in a world thats still a little bit grounded in reality. Not everyone would realistically know and new generations tend to be cocky - to some it would just be a payday too big to turn down or just an old geezer who has too much hype.

Yeah, John Wick's reputation had clearly died out after his retirement. In the opening of JW2, one of the Russian mobsters has to explain to another Russian mobster that the stories about him were true.

"They were watered down"...so they are true...just not the whole truth. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think he was lessened. John Wick 1, he dealt with thugs with cheap hired hand that were given shiny toys to play with. John Wick 2-4, he's dealing skilled assassins that were either a part of the same or similar training to Mr. Wick. Hell, the chick and the main russian body guard gave him a run for his money in the first movie. So to sum up: John Wick 1 = Easy Mode. John Wick 2-4 = God Mode

How so? John Wick 3 set up the entire premise for John Wick 4. It's not like every loose end was tied up, otherwise, I could see what you're talking about. The High Table will undoubtedly go after Wick once they realize that he wasn't killed. Not to mention, Wick has to rekindle his relationship with Winston; that's two plot threads right there! Writing yourself in a corner means that you have nowhere else to go, but I felt like there was plenty of room for the next movie (John Wick 4) to go in any direction it wanted to. It's not like the "The Dark Knight" situation all over again; making a sequel to that movie was tough because it had a definite conclusion where the main character couldn't return for another story.

@@mohamedismail6777 I'm not trying trying to knock keanu he's multi talented and practically professional level with shooting but comparing his experience in martial arts to someone like Donnie Yen isn't fair. Look up his history because there's too much for me to bother writing. Have you ever seen the raid. That tiny Indonesian guy with the long hair has some of the greatest choreographed fight scenes I've ever seen. His fight with keanu at the end of John wick 3 felt kinda restrained. Personally I think they can easily outdo that final scene with this movie though.

But looks like their fight will be a hybrid of gun fu, swords and hand to hand. I heard they developed a new style of fighting. So I'm excited.

@@mohamedismail6777 He can't. That's why he stuck to grappling. The director, Chad Stahelski has gone on record to say this. It would take too much time for Keanu Reeves to become fast, so they went with grappling in order to stick to big large movements instead of having to make sure that every body part moved properly.

This trailer was quite good, as usual the action looks absolutely fantastic and seeing as how the 3rd movie having a cliffhanger ending totally took me by surprise I’m interested to see where this next one goes, I loved John Wick 3 although at the same time it was my least favorite of the trilogy, I still think Chapter 2 was the best, I wasn’t really a big fan of the music choice though, to me it just sounded really weird and didn’t feel like it fit the trailer at all, but I’m a big fan of this franchise and so I’m still excited to see this movie
