Here is a guy from North Tech King Pin Rebuilding do a good job of welding up a worn-out trailer king pin. Then he grinds it down to specs, 2 7/8" for the shoulder and bearing area and 2" for the jaws. There are several companies that provide this service here in North America.

You can call kingpin specialist for any needs related to your kingpin being worn down or not within the proper specs

Hi Jordan, I don't do this type of work. This video just shows that the trailer King Pin can be successfully rebuilt back to specs. It would take two to three hours approximately to do. Their are companies out there that do this type of work. King Pin rebuilding. If you need that service just google it in your area. Thanks for watching.

I'm in Canada. This service is available throughout North America. Just google search "Trailer King Pin Repair" and call one of the companies that provide that service and ask for price and timeline. Hope this helps.

Just wondering what you call or what type of machine is been used to grind the pin after building? Based here in Ireland and havnt seen or can't find any information on that type of machine. Is it something that you made or is it a type of thing that can be purchased. Any information would be kindly recieved. Thanks.

Hi Mikey, not sure the correct name of the grinding machine. It does look like a homemade unit. I doubt that a company would make these as the demand would not warrant the R&D to manufacture these. You could probably make one. If you decide to make one. let me know. I would love to see it. Good luck.
