Ohh yeah I know. Im actually born and raised in Nova Scotia where the show/ movie is shot. I don't know how well you know the show, but Randy (in real life) used to be married to a girl from my home town. He used to be super fit and skinny. He put the weight on for the show!

Wow. I don't think I could bring myself to do that...actors are a unique breed. I love the show, but I only know what Googled info I can find about the actors. I have to admit that I've got a little crush on Mike Smith. Ha! ;) Every time I watch the series I either hear or see some nuance I didn't catch before. I'm on my 3rd run! I love Canada but was born and raised in Chicago.

He turned up for the interview out of character... and really hungover. was a bit annoyed he was supposed to be in character for the interview. apparently those glasses he wears are pretty painful to look through when nursing a hangover.
No it may not be huge in Australia but it does have a loyal cult following. And if you were interviewing them because you were intending to promote them to those who don't have cable in Australia and haven't seen them. I just have to say that the boys sold themselves. Your questions did NOTHING to entice a non-viewer to go along and check out the boys' show.
