About a hundred years ago, there was a massive shipping collision in a harbor in Nova Scotia, which caused an explosion that killed hundreds of people and set the city on fire. Boston sent a massive amount of aid overnight as soon as they heard about the disaster, and Nova Scotia has sent us a tree every year since to say thank you for the help during that time.

I got to the party way too late, I missed all the good stuff.

They didn't keep it hot. It was summer and there were no vents in the tanks. The heat built up on its own. I believe it happened in the morning.

The molasses moved just like water when it’s that much of it. I actually had to do a paper for school about it and it was extremely devastating. A bunch of dead pets and shit all over the streets and I guess the floor was sticky for a long time and smelled like molasses and gross shit from the floor that got stuck in the molasses. It also took houses and what not down if I remember correctly. I did this paper back in like 9th grade so that was years ago.
