Yes! So I found out just recently. But I still think I would use weld on ones, otherwise I would be worried about someone taking my drop in D rings. Maybe people lock them in place somehow? Or maybe people just install them when they have a load tied to it, and when they take the load out they lock them up in the trailer box? IDK
