those of u who don't know marshal d smith was the illustrator of the expert at the card table book, and the cards called smith back no. 2 have little hands designed on the back of the card which were the illustrations of EATCT by d smith.
Milton Franklin Andrews was a Card Cheat at that point, but he was dead by the point it was published, Guy Hollingworth has a very interesting article in Magic Magazine somewhere.
@brianmartel I saw an article written on the indentity of erdnase... just by the elegancy of the writing you can see that erdnase was highly educated..
Expert At The Card Table is a superb book; but knocked down into to second place if compared to Expert Card Technique - both in quality of writing; but, more importantly, actual content. I have made a living from the latter.
@MasterProductions101 this is an entry for an old contest the Buck twins held on erdnase moves explained in the book.expert at the card table is over a hundred years old, bro.theres not a "new" version, you can get trade paper back all the way to leatherbound collector edition, and everything in between, first edition was written in 1902.called the bible on card sleights, false deals, cuts, culls ect.-by the way the video it self-NICE work looks really smooth,i am still learning n practing
Wow. I wouldn't want to sit at a card table with you. The only thing I would've caught you doing was the bottom deal. Because no one holds the cards in that grip unless your doing an erdnase bottom deal.
great card work, but your deals and shifts were a little sloppy. I also feel like the production could have been a little better like dressing up a little nicer. (sorry i don't want to be rude, i just felt like i had to point that out)
