Running the Trailwalker 100k route (non event) on the South Downs Way. Ran the first 50k then camped overnight at Findon. Then we set off from Washington for the second 50k finishing at brighton racecourse. The route was more hilly than expected but had some incredible panoramic veiws. Highly recommended if you like a challenge. We had one really hot day and another day of wind and rain. A mixed bag of running conditions. The chalk hills were very slippy coming down on the second day. Here are a few links that helped us plan our trip. Knowing where the water taps are is a must on the hot days.
