Well done! The key of B is often a scary proposition for beginner to intermediate players, but it needn't be with these fretboard maps you've provided here on a classic tune.

Great lesson Wayne. Thank you very much. I do have a question. On the tune John and Mary it’s in the key of Sea. Are you using an alternate tuning or just playing at the sea position? Thanks for your help.

Howdy Darren. I actually wrote that melody playing a mandola tuned in open C. You'll find a video explaining that song here on the channel. Dig deep....

Howdy Mark, the strap on this A model goes around the mandolin. I definitely prefer that as opposed to putting a strap pen in the heal of the neck. There is no name or label anywhere on that strap so I can't tell you a brand name. It was a gift from one of my students after I acquired that Stanley mandolin.
