Yes! Perfectly said “the thought process is the art”. What makes FMA so special compared to other arts is the ability to transfer skills into anything you pick up. It’s extremely unconventional and exotic to say the least.i think this is why FMA is one the best blade art system compared to any other historically existing blade art. Swords and blades were used by every civilization out there but it has never been embraced and preserved the way Filipinos have done til this day. FMA still is employed by modern Filipino military and now many other units outside of PH. Btw the nunchuck/toyok can be used as a strangle weapon and tool to block and catch incoming strikes / knife attacks much like if you were to use a shirt or another improvised flexible weapon of opportunity
