That bit starting at 2:15 is awesome. The way you get back out of the "whistle" roll is perfect. Trying to make it happen on my harp...tough, but coming along! :) Great video!

When your not exactly sure what's going to happen. Listening for the train is always a good thing, sounds of the whistle and pounding of power building as the harp is being played
If you ever stood close a train going by at 70 miles per hour you will notice something verry different the clung clung is different the first noise is always hight then the second one is low its caused by the vibration hight then low and yes there is a beat worked in the railway industry for 34 year finally retired thank God just saying yours truly jim

Absolutely Great!! Reminds me that lotta hobos played harmonica as they were riding the rails crossing America looking for work in the 1930s The click clack of the track would set the tempo.
This is the best one I've heard and my favorite. If I could only get my train out of first gear(LOL) this is what I am working towards being able to play.
This is an extremly good recompilation of old ways ...but too bad that ijust before the end sometimes the whitish experimental likes eclipses the solidness of the rest . A VERY GOOD VIDEO .. HAKKAN YOU ARE TUFF and you know it
Thanks! As you can see in the text box the backing track is created in my Boss. The bass pattern is D-B-A-B (music in D). The drums were presets called "country" something like that. I don´t sell it !
It's been a while and I had this video on my mind . Put it on and all I can say again is YEAHHHHHHH!!! .I can do train chugs but man this is a sound that really blows my mind and I am going to try and eventually hope I can get as far as I can with this sound. Did you video the train ride. Beautiful, the ride and music. Shame the train wasn't steam to go with the music. Few of those left. I grew up with the steam locomotives.
