The Nathan P2 is a pretty garbage horn, BUT it CAN sound good under certain circumstances. Dallas Area Rapid Transit uses a very nice combination of Nathan P bells 1 and 2 to create a very nice sounding horn. I encourage you to look it up and have a listen.
Why are k3la and K3ha treated as different horns? They are the same bell combination- the only difference is the manifold and that doesn’t affect sound.
@@rantingrailfan316 they do not sound different because one is an L and one is an H. If I wanted to turn the K3HA sitting in my garage into a K3LA, all I would have to do is swap the high manifold for a low manifold. The horn would sound the eact same though since I am still using the same bells. Of course, some horns that should sound exactly the same end up sounding slightly different, but that's due to wear and tear and/or differences in the manufacturing process. In this case, the change is best noted by serial number and not model number. Just my two cents
nahh the K5LA is the king of horns. But the RS5T is the queen cuz it’s a leslie😏 by the way the P2 isn’t so bad until you lived next to caltrain your whole life. Y couldn’t they use a K5LA like everyone else😪
