Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!!😊👍🏼 Yesterday we celebrated four years of marriage and realised we’ve been doing this for over half our married life now, thank you for being here for the journey, we can’t wait to see where it takes us!
What a cute little steam train! That looked like such a unique and beautiful trip, you guys. How fun! That national park looks really pretty. What a cool bucket list item to say that you've been to the end of the world! And now you have the passport stamps to prove it! Love how that guy took up the whole page 😂 His stamps were cute
It was really fun seeing the end of the world and the cute little post office. It's a must visit spot once you've made it all the way there to get some penguins in your passport!
Love these old classic stream trains and it's incredible that they are so well persevered. Awesome scenic views as well! I'd say it's worth it despite being so touristy! Looks like a great experience!
It was quite cool, we were more interested in seeing the nature and hikes but the calm train journey was so relaxing and scenic it surprised us how much we liked it 🚂
Always good to see the local dogs in the video rather than cats! , clearly my postcard from the end of the world has been lost in the post. Keep up the excellent videos 😊👍🏼
Hola, I am very excited to see your videos in Argentina! I'm from Buenos Aires but I've lived in the UK for 7 years and it gives me great joy to see my beautiful country through your videos :) thanks a lot! there are many places to visit! If you have the opportunity to go to Bariloche (Neuquen) which is really beautiful, or Mendoza (many Malbec vineyards), or the Sierras de Córdoba, or the north of Argentina (Salta, Jujuy) they are all totally different landscapes. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Enjoy your time there! :)
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. We're glad to be sharing our time her with you. We had a huge battle to get transport to Bariloche from El Calafate but we made it after days of waiting (and a lot of money😬) worth it though, we'll have that video on in a few weeks when we finish our time in El Calafate. We are already blown away by the different landscapes we're seeing as we travel up through Argentina, it's incredible!
@@TideKnotTravellers Thanks for taking your time to reply :) you must be extremely busy going around different places. I follow all your videos on your trip through Argentina, and I shared them too, with my friends and family there :) . You've been in Palermo where I am from (near the Sans restaurant, :) ). I imagine that it must be costing you a lot of money to go from one place to another :(, many kms to travel and sometimes there are not all the desired means of transport. The landscapes are extremely diverse. Thanks a lot for the excellent work you are doing and for making me feel closer to there ,hoping to see your next adventure there, greeting from UK, haha :)
Love watching you two. I am coming to Argentina in November on a Solo trip. I was nervous but after watching you I feel much more relaxed. Thanks again. Cheers
What an amazing train journey! The views are just amazing from every corner! Glad you had your sandwiches from Marco Polo - on point naming- cafe lol I would pay to get my passport stamped for sure! How cute is that with the penguins!
Cannot go anywhere without finding the name Marco Polo used somewhere! 😂 it was our favourite place to eat in Ushuaia though and great coffee too! We love our end of world stamps, anytime we're waiting in an airport it makes us smile seeing the penguins in our passport, even made a super serious security guard at border control laugh the other day!
Been waiting for this video 🤗 such an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience! Loved seeing your experience at the post office 🥹🥰 And great that there weren’t too many people around 😅 perfect timing!
We were so happy with how the day turned out (minus the dirt track hike😅) the post office at the end of the world is such an experience too, the owner is so lovely!
This seems like such a fun excursion. Even if things are a bit touristy, I still love checking them out (perhaps hence my name?? lol) but I still don't like big crowds 😂 I'd definitely want my passport stamped at the end of the world post office as a memento. The scenery in the national park is stunning! So many great scenic points.
😂 Yes sometimes the tourist route is the only way to experience something. Getting the passport stamped was so worth it, official end of the world penguins in our passports 😍
Hahaha, Everyone raves about the Johnston Canyon falls here and they are amazing however there were so many people lining up to have a look at the waterfall that it was not worth it so we totally understand what you're saying!! We would love to do this train journey one day!
😂 good to know we're not the only ones! The train journey was the real experience, the waterfall stop was an unnecessary stop added purely so they could sell you the pics they took on the way onto the train, touristy but worth it for the experience.
I love these videos so much! Stunning landscapes and scenery! The only fly in the soup is seeing those poor people trusting that baseless political narrative by wearing those face diapers. I better focus on the beautiful, there's A LOT more of it! :)
you have a wrong fact, the southernmost city in the world is Puerto Williams, since the year 2019, pass from a Town to a City, legally and constitutionally by the Chilean State, so you can fix that fact to not miss inform 👍.
Hey guys, even though there were a lot of touristy experiences along the way....the day seemed pretty fun! This trail doesn't seem very pedestrian friendly...as several cars and motorcycles fly by 😆 we would have walked along it as well... especially if it meant you lost all of the other visitors 🙌
From an Argentinian: there is not much funding for tourism, unfortunately, so we do what we can and as well try to keep it as wild as possible. Hope that you had a great time anyways!
We had an incredible time, we knew the train would be touristy but you’re right the wildlife part has been left very wild and beautiful! We loved hiking the 12km best!
Not sure if they do because we didn’t try but it was only a few dollars to get both of our passports stamped. We paid in cash because we used cash for everything in Argentina to save money.
Ushuaia is the "end of Argentina" only: further south there is still a large territory: Puerto Williams, Cape Horn Archipelago and Diego Ramirez Islands, all of Chile. You should have filmed in the Chilean part of Tierra del Fuego: much more beautiful, fascinating and interesting than the Argentine part: there is the crazy geography with its thousands of archipelagos, islands, fjords and canals; its glaciers that flow into the sea, and the Darwin Mountain Range, with the highest mountains in all of Tierra del Fuego
Otro chileno mas comantando esa tonteria... Voy a empezar a pensar que tienen un complejo de inferioridad terrible. De un video de 17 minutos, solo rescatas eso?
Doesn't seem like the most welcoming place in the world, not that I expect that, it's more I don't like being treated as a financial unit to be exploited by the locals. Be great if it were off the tourist trail. I couldn't think of anything worse than traveling all that way to such stunning beauty then being treated like cattle on a cattle truck on their way to the abattoir LOL. Perhaps I should've gone there in my '20s when I won a selection trial for a community aid program there, but I didn't go because I was stupid. Seems they did alright without me at any rate. I've always wanted to go there but after seeing this I'll pass.
The train journey is VERY touristy but the national park itself once you wander off from the crowds into nature is peaceful and beautiful. It is possible to visit without going anywhere near the train as we show at the end of the video we returned by mini bus a few days later and hiked for 12km by ourselves.
