Footage of train ride over the Forth Railway Bridge in Scotland.
We head outwards northbound from Edinburgh to North Queensferry looking at magnificent views over the Firth of Forth.
We then return Southbound with views looking inland of the 2 Forth Road Bridges.

Its very well worth taking the time to cycle or walk over the (original) Forth Road Bridge. Some really nice scenery to be had. Its now closed to all traffic but taxis and buses, so its incredibly quiet. Unfortunately, for some reason, cycles are not permitted on the road way. They have to share what is an unexpectedly busy pathway. Some very good vies to be had. There are several ale and eateries in South Ferry right beneath the (southern end of the) road bridge.

Somewhere I'd like to spend more time at some stage. Everytime I'm up that way it's a flying visit, or on the way through to somewhere else. Every year I say I'm going to take the motorbike for a few days exploring.

Nice bit of info about all the bridges. I assume you got off after the first crossing and went somewhere... not just an out and back!

😄 That's right. Little walk around the town. Was looking for a quick snack or cafe, but nothing open. So straight back after around 30 mins.
