Dark begins a new series of livestreams, where he and his friends look back on the 'Big Four': The Great Western Railway, the Southern Railway, the London,Midland and Scottish Railway, and the London & North Eastern Railway. These new companies (with the exception of the GWR) were formed in 1923, and were absorbed into British Railways in 1948.
For the third stream, we take on some of the Big Four's numerous tank engine designs, the unsung heroes of the railways, completing a variety of work that can sometimes be overlooked. Starting with the SE&CR 'H' Class, we move on to the GCR Roinson 9N, then the LNWR Webb Coal Tank, and finally, the GWR Collett 5600 'Taffy Tank' for some Welsh (kind of) representation!
Will we make it to the end of the stream without a massive argument, or a massive crash?
