Hello and welcome back to Train Sim World 2!
In this scenario we'll be driving a mixture of the Class 377 and the Class 387 Electrostar units. Our first task is to prepare a Class 377 for service in the sidings, and then drive it into London Victoria where it couples up to another 4 car set already waiting in the platforms.
After some fiddling around with the coupling of the two units we'll then drive a Class 387 waiting on the neighbouring platform non stop to Gatwick Airport. We'll be a little bit delayed due to some problems coupling, but apart from that it's full steam ahead!

Great Video Joe, I would assume that drivers would drive Southern and Gatwick Express, due to the fact that the Class 387’s do work some evening Southern Services.

Completely agree with the passengers on the edge of the platform! As a former mainline and LU driver, I still twitch for the emergency brake even in the sim! Great video as always. On the subject of torches, are you still issued with the huge Bardic lamps we used to have or do you have the plastic LED torches these days? Bardic and spare battery used to weigh my bag down! Incidentally, looking at Wiki, it seems that Southern do indeed own Gatwick Express, but I couldn't say whether it is realistic for one 'brand' to drive another!

I've played this scenario and I ended up held at T71 just past Selhurst for no apparent reason... so I guess I need to restart it all. :(

How do u see a lot of trains passing and at stations but i hardly see any when im driving ine

There's one station on here where there's this one pedestrian floating with one leg on the platform and one leg off and I swear the first time I saw this person I hit the emergency button thinking I hit them and then sucking them under my train. I tell myself it's only a game but I'm driving realistically here adhering to signals and speed limits, flicking my tail lights on etc. So I hope they fix the suicidal pedestrians. It can't be good for business if DTG are promoting rail safety at the start of game only to then ignore their own advisory with these peds walking to close to edge of platform.
