im looking forward to this one i think they done alot more then when tsw4 came out,so i be defo getting the deluxe version and the add ons in the future sound great just hope we have more traffic when we drive along

Mate I nearly had to change my pants! I am almost sure they caught my reaction on film down at DTG. I am not sure if that will surface in any video anywhere but they have it lol

Didn’t watch the Direct. Came straight here! Good move about the core. Well done to DTG for that. Only really interested in the new German route, Frankfurt will be amazing if done well and the ICE- T is very welcome. So undecided whether to buy now or later. JT’s new route though…. Fantastic news.
There was only one disappointing thing for me which was that the WCML stops at MK. I did expect that though, and with route hopping maybe we will get to Birmingham one day! Also we will be getting Just Trains Carlisle to Preston, albeit set in the 80s, which is great. Otherwise loads of good stuff, love the new map, route hopping and fast travel. I will be buying the deluxe.
Nice mate yeah. I also hope at some point we can get the next section and do the hopping.....from inside the cab...and continue on. That would get around the merging of routes. The eras thing in hopping may be more of a headscratcher
will my Peninsula Corridor Route be free with the upgrade or do I have to buy it again? also will the tsw4 routes also be added like how they added it to every past tsw game?
Everything you already own will be available again in TSW5 and you don’t pay again. You will need to download the TSW5 version of each route you own again though, they don’t automatically transfer
Good explanation of the new version - thanks! One thing I can't quite understand - maybe you'll know? I have 33 DLC's for TSW4 - some of them made for TSW4, and many that have been from earlier versions - TSW, TSW2000, TSW 2, 3 etc. If I get just the FREE starter pack - I'll have access to all those routes - but will any of the old routes have the new features - like conductor mode and Suspension features for example? Or only routes that I buy for TSW5 will have them? Also - I do have the original Great Western Express - will the remaster be free, or it will be a new purchase? No worries, if you're not sure - and won't hold you to it, so guessing is also ok, lol. Thanks again.
Hello! Thanks. On the conductor mode coming to all existing routes, really not sure at this stage. I can't remember if it was said if that was a TSW5 route only feature. On the GWE question you should get that remaster for free in a similar way that owners of the West Somerset got that remaster free
@@TinTin_57 Thanks for the answer! Nice - I must have missed that the West Somerset route was remastered - and I own that one, so that's pretty cool. Perhaps I'll get to see the new features with the GWE remaster. Really not keen to spend more just yet - I've bought every version, saying "this is the last time" every time, lol. And I'm still a novice in this. I'll have to watch some of you other content for some tips!
Will the conductor mode and all the new things train sim world 5 brings come in the standard version the £39.99 will it or Is the conductor mode and all the changes not available in standard purchase edition 🤔
Will my tsw2 rush hour deluxe edition routes be transferred to tsw5 if I import my profile to tsw5? Or will I have to email dovetail to get the routes?
@@TinTin_57 yea i've looked and they said I will need to open a support ticket to dovetail to get the keys but I'm looking forward to tsw5 to transfer everything from tsw2
Yeah I spoke to Matt about that when I was there last week and they tried allsorts to avoid that but couldn't reach a solution. I know last year I set them to download and put my PS5 in rest mode. They were done when I got up. My connection is rubbish too, 38Mb download
@@TinTin_57 i loved it, i was not expecting some of the 6 routes that was mentioned to be as fantastic as they are and its good to see the original GWE finally getting the long awaited remaster treatment
I don't like any of the modern units. Certainly not a pendolino. I never use the Azuma. Just give me a Blue 47 and a rake of mk2. If someone in the community can do that thanks. No deluxe for me.
