Stop at the old acme markets at harrowgate plaza it’s a little north of the broad st station in Harrowogate or Kensington. The tracks run right behind that old shopping center , it’s before the old Frankfort Junction which is the exact spot that trained derailed a few years ago

A year later and NS has laid off so many people that they have trains sitting and waiting for crews up to three days... even with combining trains, making record-length trains in the process haha. What can you do.... Great video, thanks for sharing

I've heard that, it's crazy that they laid off so many people only to screw themselves over in the long run. Now they are going to be hiring like crazy and possibly run more trains and become power short.

Some are, but I heard a lot of the non-rebuilt ones are being retired or rebuilt.

Nonsuspicious another is in there trying that out is not only for us arrow dynamic speaker but because it has the appeal of them being able to then market it to places like Cal Trianon metro link and places like that to lease out so it’ll be another source of income for

I love the dash 9’s and dash 8’s. Sucks that NS is giving them away. They better come up with a sick ass train design for these new ones because those dash 9’s and dash 8’s can never be beat.

The dash 8's I believe are being scrapped, while the Dash 9's are getting rebuilt into the AC44C6M's

Awesome video and cool mods. Im actually watching this as im making the everything wrong with unstoppable lol, like I said awesome video also I like your Amtrak and I dont think your siding with amtrak I understand if I had this simulator I would be doing metra videos all the time.

The dash 8's were alot more reliable then the dash 9's. Il never understand why they scrapped them.

Pretty sure the new head honcho at NS doesn't know what they are doing. Selling off a lot of older road power, and going to have to turn to leasers when freight picks back up.

@@YoAdrian yes exactly. And they wonder why their low on power. Where I am on the reading line I don't see any leaders but I'm well aware of the problem

I live about 45 minutes away from a NS yard, and they have 2 untouched SD40-2's and an Admiral cab GP59 for yard power. I was surprised to see them since majority of all SD40's have admiral cabs now on NS

@@YoAdrian the high hood ones do. Unless the cabs were in really bad shape they wouldn't put admiral cabs on them

@@YoAdrian Nah.. NS 213 was abolished in 2021 but it went from Croxton to Atlanta. Must’ve been a typo lol but still cool to see tho considering that train ran through my area. NS has gone to shit
