We're going back to the old-school in more ways than one today - on the venerable Train Simulator, and journeying on the Wherry Lines in Norfolk on a train now retired IRL, but beloved by me and this channel. It's the East Anglia Short Set - two Class 37/4 locomotives, three coaches, 3,500hp and a whole LOAD of thrash!
Let's have some fun and bring the noise, shall we?

That was fun - I live in the eastern Norwich suburb of Thorpe St Andrew and often go for a walk around the area in the 19:00 to 22:00 timeframe of the video, including the level crossing at 20:30, under the bridge at 20:50 and over a footpath that crosses the line ungated but doesn't appear to be shown in the simulator (it would be at around 21:08 and is clearly shown on Google Earth).

Oh, amazing! I have close friends in Norwich and often go on holiday in the Wherry Lines area, multiple times we stayed in a house on the river at Reedham with a perfect view of the swing bridge!
