Holy Island is no where near that line at all. Thats Holyhead, on the Isle of Anglesey. Holy Island is Northumberland about 10 miles south of the border of Scotland
There seem to be two Holy Islands. Indeed the one on the northeast of the UK just south of Berwick-upon-Tweed but Holyhead is also located on an island of the same name. Holyhead is indeed on the Isle of Anglesey region; but due to the fact Holyhead is on an island only connected to the Isle of Anglesey by the Stanley Embankment they gave Holyhead's island it's own name as well; this being Holy Island like the one near Berwick-upon-Tweed. It's just Wales' Holy Island is a lot less "popular" than the one near Scotland so it's often just grouped in with the Isle of Anglesey. I hope this info helps!
@@trainsimexplorer does not help at all. As I travel UK wide in real life. I can catergorily tell you Holyhead is not on Holy Island. There is only HOLY ISLAND and that is in the north east
@@stevecampbell7589 Alright well I don't know what to tell you except that Holy Island is indeed a place in Wales alongside a place in northern England and I think I'll leave it at that as there isn't much else to say. Here are some online resources referring to Holy Island in Wales though: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Island,_Anglesey ukeveryday.com/holy-island-anglesey/ www.wheregoesrose.com/holy-island-anglesey-wales/ You can also find it if you search things like "Holy Island, Wales" on services like Google Maps. It's Welsh name is Ynys Gybi.
