When I was in college at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, (1980-1983) I would play golf in the afternoons in a small town called Slaton. There was a railroad roundhouse about a mile from the course. Turns out The Flying Scotsman was in that roundhouse. British Rail brought it back to the UK and restored it. Who knew?
Great spotting Matt. Like the selection of Class 66, EWS for me is the best one though. You could tell the Flying Scotsman was on its way with the build up of the crowd on the platforms. Thanks for that. Regards Rob
