Clip 3:29 shows a rare boxcar in Pan Am livery. This car is not from the iconic airline of the past but belongs to a company that owns and operates regional railroads (Class II) in northern New England. The lettering and logo (albeit smaller scale) is similar to what would have been seen on one of the airline’s early 747s. The railway company bought the rights to the Pan Am name and logo. Clip 19:26 shows a well car with what appears to be a carriage system for bulk loads other than the typical intermodal shipping containers. Note that many of the well cars (double stack) are articulated or share the same truck (wheel and axel assembly). This configuration helps reduce slack action, vibration, weight and maintenance cost.
A great video Levi, I see your son likes trains I hope he grows up to be a conductor and then an engineer so y’all have a merry Christmas and a happy new year
