Hello @Iamgbolahan, you've covered, The southwest railway network, we'll and now you have been helped to get to Abuja. Congrats! I had seen other Abuja residents do their own takes, kudos to them, but I was waiting for two the dynamic quarter of you, Ozed Ekogist and Sanmi to get here! 😊 Well done. I know it takes a lot financially to do what you are doing may the good lord provide for you continually.
I did not see any of your drone shots though, but only a still photo of an aerial view from the outside. The drone shots always have their uniqueness as you know. 😊 The user experience conversation you had with the fellow rider was also insightful.
The Abuja metro is actually Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) not EMU. I think that black cable in the middle is for communications and signaling. Please keep up the good work with the videos.
... my dear Cowry cards can not work and should not work in Abuja because they're different Organization different Managements different Accounts -- they can approach the same company to provide similar service that type of cards but not the same cards (Lagos is Lagos and FCT Abuja is FCT Abuja) MTN card can not work on Glo line -- both in Nigeria doesn't make it same
Not saying it will work, it’s just a suggestion. The cowry card (Lagos) and pacesetter card (Oyo) were working towards integration with each other, both are from the same parent company touch and pay technologies and the Abuja payment validator also seems to be from same company.
This route only serves abuja Town to airport...it doesn't serve the population of abuja where they live...and that's exactly what lagos metro line does, they positioned it where ppl are more in population
Remember, they are 6 Lots that will connect everywhere together in Abuja. This is just Lot 1 which runs from the City Center to the Airport, Lot 2 will run from Gwagwa to Nyanya. Lot 3 will run from Idu to Kubwa. Lot 4 will run from Kuje to Karshi. Lot 5 will run from Kubwa to Suleja and finally Lot 6 will run from the Airport via Gwagwalada. Just like Lagos rail, only the Blue line has been completed and the Red line is still ongoing. Lagos has 6 lines too. The Blue Line, Red Line, Green line, Purple line, Orange line and Yellow line.
Lagos rail was built to solve a problem. Abuja rail was built for fancy .The rail should have passed through LUGBE which is the major settlement between the airport and the city centre to make a sense!.. A city metro that passed through the bush.BUSH METRO
For all this infrastructure to be well managed and stand the test of time, the govt should privatize it... just look back, the ones the country took over from the British, tell me what happened to them.....they all died a natural death due to mismanagement.
Lets all calm down....no need for disagreements. I'm going to explain the similarities and differences..... A train and a metro are similar because both are types of rail transportation. They run on tracks and carry passengers from one place to another. Here are some key points that show their similarities: 1. Tracks: Both trains and metros run on tracks, which guide them along their routes. 2. Stations: They have stations where passengers can get on and off. 3. Carriages: Both have carriages or cars where people sit or stand during their journey. 4. Schedules: They follow a schedule with set times for arrivals and departures. 5. Purpose: Both are used to transport people quickly and efficiently over distances. The main difference is that metros are usually found in cities and cover shorter distances with more frequent stops, while trains can travel longer distances between cities or regions... This project is good for Nigeria, at least we can all agree on that. God Bless Nigeria.
Your own Ignorance is complicated ooo.METRO is a short form of METROPOLITAN TRAIN as against INTER CITY TRAIN...... All na train...GET YOUR FACT RIGHT BEFORE CORRECTING OTHERS!
