There's difference between the corporate who only care about money and people who enjoy and love to make figures with their heart.

They also cost a crap ton more and are often quite complicated to transform. Or in short: they look cool but aren't fun.

@@hio.hinomaru21 I dunno, the latter is not the vibe I get from Moon Studio (Zeta Toys), considering how often they attempt to compete with Has-Tak and other 3Ps by releasing their own versions of characters. Also, in the case of the Trainbots, Takara is working with a company that specializes in model trains along with having them fully licensed, and it shows on their releases of Shouki and Getsui, so I don’t sense a lack of love and care for their craft. The Moon Studio take meanwhile has lankier proportions, robot modes look off from the source material, and alternate modes aren’t wholly faithful. Additionally, the plastic quality isn’t the greatest and the QC is horrible.
